Like father like daughter!?!?!

The other night we were getting ready to head upstairs and put the kids to bed and this is what we found...Jillian found daddy's Mountain Dew and wanted to drink it. Although it was just out of the fridge it was UNOPENED! This may be why our kids don't sleep although Jillian is our sleeper and Marcus is not. It may have something to do with me drinking Dew while I was pregnant with him?!?! Jillian wants to be just like daddy, monkey see monkey do!

Daddy's a dinosaur!!!

This morning Marcus and I got up and went and laid with Matt in bed...I slept most of the night with Marcus since he refuses to sleep by himself yet alone all night long. We know he is capable since he used to do it and occasionally will do it now, which after our San Diego trip next week we are going to start breaking him of this...so we go in early this morning to lay with daddy and he is sleeping and snoring a bit and Marcus says "daddy's a dinosaur" and then tends to copy daddy's snoring. Very funny since Marcus snors pretty good himself right now!

TiMe FoR cHaNgE

So...time for change! Lots has happened lately. I no longer work for ON. After ON announced the closure of our fab we have been busy. Matt decided to go back to school. He will be attending RSI for HVAC training (heating, cooling & electrical) and will be starting Nov 12th, 2009 and will be finishing Nov 2010, WOO HOO! Matt is excited to get on with his life and can't wait until school starts and when he will be done at ON too. I now work for MVMC (Mountain Vista Medical Center) on Crismon/Southern in the ER. Nice to finally be close to home and I will be working 3 days a week, boo hoo on the 12 hr days and the various days with no set schedule but it has it's trade offs. It's a good job but can be extremely busy especially with the upcoming winter and the H1N1 flu (a.k.a swine flu).

On a different note...I am so excited that fall is here! YEAH! I can't stand the hot summers here and I love that we get to decorate outside/inside and the kids love it. Marcus wants to go see lights all year round because he doesn't understand it's only in the winter, but it's coming and I can't wait.

Jillian had a birthday!!!

Our baby girl is 1!!! She is growing up so fast and I can't believe it! We had lots of fun celebrating her birthday. She loved having everyone around. She played, ate and played some more when she wasn't trying to climb the chairs. She didn't dig her cake too much either. She wasn't too sure about eating it but was sure about digging in it and making a mess as she threw frosting onto the floor!

3. The best sleeper in the world!!! Sleeps all night and takes great naps

4. She is so happy you don't even know she is here unless her brother makes her mad

5. She loves to climb EVERYTHING!!!

I remeber the day my water broke at 2:30a on a Saturday morning, daddy didn't believe it broke because I was too calm and asked if I wet the bed...no! So I showered and called Grandma and off we went at 4:30a. They started the c-section just after 7a and Jillian was born at 7:35a. She had everyone surprised at how big she was, she came out with automatic rolls - EVERY WHERE! The dr was especially surprised, she was not expecting a 9 lb 12.5 oz baby! But there she was, so cute, strong and just perfect. We love her so much and we are so happy she is part of our family. With Jillian being the 3rd girl in the family, the girls have now out numbered the boys and daddy and Marcus feel a little out numbered at times. A little too much estrogen daddy says. Happy 1st Birthday Jillian, we love you!!!

A few weeks ago we had gone over to Little Matt and Piper's for dinner, and we had a good time and visited and Piper cut the missionaries hair. While doing that we sent all of the kids outside to play in the sprinklers. Thanks to Piper I stole these from her blog...

1. Visiting and having a dinner date with family = FUN

Take Two!!!

So yesterday we went to pick up Madison's glasses since they were ready. And of course, Madison needed to use the restroom; as always...so we decided to try glasses on Marcus this time and here it is, take two! So fun!

Hilarious - Hilarious!

This is pretty funny! Me, Jillian and Madison all headed to the eye dr yesterday after she got home. Well, while Madison was trying on frames we decided to have some fun...boy was it fun! We had so much fun we were practically in tears!!! Jillian even laughed at herself!
