Madison had a birthday!!!

Our little girl is 12!!! I can't believe how fast it has gone and I guess I can't say she is little. She is now 12!!! She is in junior high and now is going to mutual. Her first night of mutual was last week on her actual birthday. She had lots and fun and I feel so old now. It hit me the hardest that night when I realized she is old enough for mutual, I can't believe it. She is the best and sweetest girl.
.
Some random tidbits about Madison:
1. Nick names: baby (I used to call her that all the time when she was little), Maddy and Medicine
2. She is the sweetest and is such a big help
3. She loves her brother and sister (most of the time)
4. Loves Twilight, team Jacob and team Edward
5. Loves Star Wars and the such
.
I remember the day she was born...I was at work when my water broke, I drove myself home while having contractions, called the doctor and family and then off we went. I was only in labor for 8 hours before she was born. I remember watching her take her first breath and how amazing it was. She has been such a sweetie and a blessing since. We love you and Happy Birthday!

Crazy kids!!!

So we signed Marcus up for soccer, that has been an adventure in itself. Some days he will play and most days he won't. I think he might be too young... Jillian decided to climb into the diaper box after our Costco trip and that it was the best thing ever! And Madison is busy with school and her science project! Whew...so busy (just to name a few!) Not to mention Matt busy being in school too. :)

Christmas!!!

Christmas came and went...in a flash!!! We actually celebrated Christmas on Christmas Eve since I had to work, the down fall of working in the medical field. But the kids didn't know the difference and we had a great day. We also celebrated that night with all the family and had a great time. Merry Christmas everyone! I also feel terrible...I didn't send out any Christmas cards this year, things always seem to be hectic and before I knew it, Christmas was here and I was going to attempt to send them out for New Year's...well that of course didn't happen either. Oh well, there is always next year. BTW...look at our poor tree! Only the top half is decorated so that Marcus and Jillian couldn't reach the ornaments and pull them off!

Silly Girls!!!

So in mid-december I missed my nephew's birthday party because I had to work, so sad. But Matt and the kids went and had a good time. I can't believe Austin is 14! Amazing how fast time flies! Everyone had fun including Sarah and Jillian, who are 9 weeks apart and who will hopefully be lifetime friends! Love these girls and their smiles!

Marcus had a birthday!!!

Our little boy is 3!!! I can't believe how fast it has gone, he is growing up so fast. We had lots of fun celebrating his birthday with family and friends especially since his birthday landed on Thanksgiving this year. Marcus enjoyed having everyone here as he played, ate and played some more.
.
Here are his stats:
weight: 33 lbs = 65%
height: 38 in = 65%
.
Some random tidbits about Marcus:
1. Nicknames: bud, buddy and brat
2. He is always on the go and never stops
3. He loves my hair...most days I enjoy it...others it depends on how much he knots it
4. He loves Lightening McQueen and Thomas the Train
5. Loves taking a shower, would take a dozen a day if you let him
6. Loves sleeping with his older sister
7. Loves his family
.
I remember the day my water broke, it was 4am on a Sunday morning and Matt was at work, at the time Matt was working nights. We didn't want to wait an hour for him to get home and then to turn around for another 45 min to get to the hospital so Matt called Jim across the street and he drove me there and we met Matt. Matt was pretty nervous and I think Jim could tell, bless his heart he stayed a while for support for Matt. Well after laboring all day with not much success they decided I needed an emergency c-section, so off we went. After it was all done we learned why we didn't have much success laboring, Marcus had his cord wrapped around his neck. Such a blessing that they didn't want to wait any longer and proceeded with the c-section. Marcus was a healthy 7 lbs 13 oz and was born at 9:12pm. We love him so much and we are so glad he is a part of our family. Happy Birthday Marcus, we love you!!!

Jillian!!!

So this morning I am hand mopping our floor, I know call me crazy but I think it gets cleaner this way because I can see the areas where I have missed, but my knees are now killing me. While I am doing this Jillian is playing and I didn't think anything of it. Then I turn around to check on her and this is what I see...she climbed into the drawer of our china hutch and is playing in it! Crazy girl! I'm surprised the bottom didn't come out of it.

Marcus!!!

So Marcus for awhile now has had sleeping issues and the last month and half or so he has been snoring really bad. His tonsils are also really inflammed. So we took him to the pediatrician and he said that his tonsils and adnoids will need to come out and to take him to an ENT. Last friday we took him to the ENT and he confirmed that they will need to come out and the most of his sleep problems are from inflammed tonsils/adnoids. So, Marcus is scheduled for the big day on Dec 3rd. Hopefully this will help with his sleep issues and we can get him on a regular pattern to sleep all night.
